I get my produce from my local farmer’s market, but and Whole Foods are great options for organic produce if you don’t have time to shop.

Frozen Raspberries

There’s nothing wrong with frozen produce – make sure it’s organic and contains just the fruit (no added sugars or preservatives). Even generic grocery store brands should have purely frozen fruit.

You can get organic for $4 from Whole Foods’ 365 brand or Amazon Fresh.

Hemp Seeds

Hemp seeds are an excellent source of omega-3 fats, an essential nutrient that provides anti-inflammatory benefits. They also provide proteins and amino acids that support strong hair, nails, muscles, and skin.

Culinary Coconut Milk

Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high until a uniform thick and creamy consistency is reached. If you’d prefer a thinner smoothie, you can add a little more water as needed, about a tablespoon or two at a time.
Recipe Notes

*Peel a banana, break it in half, and put in a ziploc bag in the freezer at least overnight, or up to a few weeks to make your smoothie extra creamy and delicious.
