Nuts and seeds are a great addition to any diet, rich in protein and minerals and low in sugar. They can be of great use to those with a sweet tooth trying to wean off sugary junk foods, as an alternative snack during the day – the protein content helps stop blood sugar crashes, and the minerals and good fats help fill the nutritional gaps often left by empty calorie foods.

Nuts and seeds generally require soaking in water for several hours prior to eating, to reduce their nutrient-blocking phytic acid content and free up those nutrients for easy absorption. Try including almonds as a snack each day, whip up a delicious chia seed pudding as a healthy breakfast rich in omega 3, or add LSA powder to your smoothie to up the mineral and essential fatty acid content.

    This is an outstanding product. Its exactly how I imagined the perfect peanut butter would be in taste and texture and oily ness. I love the sweet flavour which is natural in nuts rather than an added salty flavour. As I am on a very limited diet for damaged liver, this is very satisfying when I need a treat to dip my veggies in. Can’t eat chocolate but this makes me feel just as good. Love the smooth texture and colour too...real natural.

    My husband and I have been using chia seeds for some years now either on muesli or in porridge. Because of the protein in them they help us not to feel too hungry during the morning. I would recommend them to anyone as they are easy to put in anything .
